Marc Jacobs, Womenswear Designer of the Year

At last year’s CFDAs, Jacobs was awarded the Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award. While he was certainly grateful, he admitted that he wasn’t quite ready for the honor, telling the New York Times that “It should have been a half-lifetime award … [Lifetime] seems very final, like I’m done.” Clearly, he’s not done.
